the area councillor B.P.Mandal(BJP)WARD No.160 supported the community centre amar colony. license to create problems during this year’s Independence Day 2008 celebrations. a representation to the area councillor B.P.Mandal(BJP)no action has been taken against licensee,
the licensee had been allowed to run only a library, an Internet café and a cafeteria at the community centre but he had erected a permanent air-conditioned tent there and forced the customers to book the space as well as the tent.
the licensee of hijacking the community centre and extorting money from customers by overcharging for renting out the space.
the area councillor B.P.Mandal(BJP) with supported. society approached the Area Councillor for getting his signature on Mandatory Reference Form, to book the aforesaid Amar Colony Community Centre for 2.10.2008 for the function of Gandhi Jayanti, but the said Councillor refused to sign the reference form for the reason best known to him. Moreso the said councellor asked the President Mohan Kataria to take back all the complaints filed against the licensee.that he will sign the mandatory reference form only after the confirmation from licensee.
