Want to know if your candidate for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections has a criminal background? Or whether his or her financial condition presents a murky picture?
Well, assistance is just a phone call away, with a dedicated election helpline being run by independent body Delhi Election Watch (DEW), operating in the national capital to provide detailed information about the candidates in fray.
Two lines have been working for the toll-free helpline that operates for eight hours a day from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm, with Sundays remaining closed.
Besides, an SMS service that provides free of cost alerts compiling vital information about candidates obtained from the affidavits filed by them is also being operated by the body.
The toll-free helpline can be availed to ask any questions related to their candidates or party by dialling 1-800-111515. People can also receive free SMS by sending START ELECTIONDEL to 575758.
