Regionalism may not be the policy of any party in the poll-bound capital but winning the favour of over 30 lakh voters hailing from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is a vital part of strategy for both Congress and BJP in New Delhi.
With Delhi going to polls in two days, both parties are trying everything possible to woo voters hailing from these parts of the country, popularly known as ‘Poorvanchalis’.
