Delhi Elections : Delhi government has declared holiday on May 7
For convenience of the voters, the Delhi government has declared holiday on May 7 when the national capital goes to the Lok Sabha polls.
Besides government offices, private units will also remain closed on the day so as to ensure a maximum number of people reach to their polling booths to exercise their franchisee.
Further, no liquor will be sold on the polling day with the government declaring May 7 as a&aposdry day&apos.
All liquor shops will remain shut from a day before the polling day till 5 pm of the following day after the election completes.
