Delhi Elections : Election Commission to start vote count on Saturday
As many as eight counting centres have been set up across the seven parliamentary constituencies. In all the counting centres, a total of 55 halls have been identified for counting and the process will be executed from 807 tables. At each table there will be one supervisor, one counting assistant and one additional counting staff from the central government. In all about 5000 officials will be engaged on counting day.
In order to ensure fairness of counting of votes and accuracy of compilation of results, ECI has directed observers to choose two EVMs at random at the end of each round of counting for parallel verification.
