Ch. Satbir Singh is the real deal for Mehrauli…
I have known Ch. Satbir Singh from his school days way back in late sixties when he would gather his schoolmates, put them in open tempoes and take them shouting slogans to rallies addressed by Mrs. Indira Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi. He must have been 15 or 16 years old then. He has been a devoted congressman throughout since then with selfless service. Denying him ticket seems unjustified. I am not a Delhi voter but would like Mehraulites to vote for him and see him win.

I honestly say we people of Mehrauli never accept Mr. Yoganand Shastri as our leader & how he won from Mehrauli from congress ticket, it is really a shocking. There is something fishy in Delhi election.
No doubt Mehrauli this time has got a good leader. Dr.Shastri is a neta with brain. We Mehrauli people are hoping for a drastic change under his leadership. Our day to day problems … Water, Electricity and Road etc. might be solved by the efforts of our generous leader.

Seems you guys dont have sufficient input about Mehrauli constituency.
This time its not Congress or BJP over there but ex- Mayor Satbir Singh who is an independent candidate as Congress denied ticket to him and preferred to sell the ticket to Yoganand Shastri who is considered as an outsider by the voters of this region.
Ch. Satbir Singh is the one man army who has carried and brought victory for Congress in this area from last 45 years….in Mehrauli region if any one says word Congress it used to mean Satbir Singh…. But this denial due to Shiela Dixit doing Grouping for herself to become CM is resulting in more and more revolutionaries in Delhi Congress…
Shiela Dixit is a latcher….she comes out with wrong comments for Delhi girls who have to work in late night shifts….she should be thrown out…
