Vijay Goel
Vijay Goel was Born in Roop Nagar, Delhi on the 4th of January 1954 and belongs to a rather wealthy and influential family.
Vijay Goel did His graduation and post-graduation in commerce from Sri Ram College of commerce(SRCC),Delhi University. He did His LLB from the campus law center, Delhi University.
His leadership Qualities kept on getting better & better and took final shape in the University.He fought various elections in college days.& was Elected as the president, DUSU invijay ji in jail 1977-78 with a record margin.He agitated against the injustice carried on in the University during the Emergency & to restore back order.
Vijay Goel is a former union minister of state in the government of India from 2001 to 2004. He is a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was a member of the 11th, 12th and 13th Lok Sabha from Chandni Chowk Delhi. He is a former President of the Delhi University Students Union.
Vijay Goel is a multifaceted and dynamic reformer, a vociferous social worker, an activist with conviction, and a crusader of causes close to his heart, a product of the JP Movement was jailed during Emergency, a home grown NSS, NCC, ABVP & RSS worker, a politician who famous for his contribution in getting the “Lottery-Banned” and thereby saving lacs of families from ruin.
