Former Uttarakhand CM addressed public meeting in Kasturba Nagar

The fight fo MCD polls scheduled for April 15 heated up in the Capital, Bharatiya Janata Party used senior leaders to campaign for its candidates. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri addressed public meeting in Kasturba Nagar ward under New Delhi Parliamentary Constituency to campaign for party candidate Nitin Sardare, who was given ticket in place of sitting councillor Jagdish Mamgain.

Addressing the raily, Khanduri counted the achievements of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and appealed to the voters to vote on account of development. Khanduri’s visit to Kasturba Nagar ward assumes significance in the wake of significant presence of migrants from Uttarakhand.
